My mom needed someone to help her transition from the skilled nursing/rehab facility to her assisted living facility after hip surgery. The caregivers were very attentive and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again should a need arise. Home Instead has been a lifesaver for my Mom. Her caregiver is wonderfully attentive, always prompt, reliable, cheerful and very patient with her as the dementia progresses.
There are numerous factors that contribute to the cost of in-home senior care. Level of care needed, weekly hours, and the cost of the supplies affect in-home care pricing. The caregivers that Mary and Jim provided for my Dad were excellent. They were very conscientious and caring and took excellent care of him.

I have a lady that comes out from Home Instead. I've been using them for about three or four years now. I use them all the time, three times a week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. My caregiver is very friendly and very beautiful. She does everything she's supposed to do.
While I only you a short time, the wonderful way you cared for my mother and our family in a time of crisis will forever be remembered in a very special way. Mom's husband, John, is still in an assisted living here in Greenville and going well. The office staff is professional, knowledgeable, courteous and timely in responses to any questions or concerns that I may have. The caregiver is very friendly and caring, putting my mother at ease during a very challenging time. She has assisted with housework, meals, groceries and appointments but most importantly, she is a trustworthy companion for my mother during this time of COVID isolation. Great caregivers, as well as office staff.

It is such a comfort to me knowing she looks forward to her weekly outing. The office also lets me know in advance when they need to send a substitute caregiver so I can prepare my mother, and passes on any concerns expressed by the caregiver about my mother. Before Home Instead we used a different service intermittently; the caregivers were fine but the office personnel changed several times and weren't organized.

They have provided care for my aunt for over a year and the services that have provided have been outstanding. They provide care 7 days a week for 21 hours a day. The caregivers have been very consistent, arrive on time, and very helpful to my aunt with her needs. They are professional, customer focused, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable.
Patient Care Technician
My mother has been a Home Instead client for approx. 7 years and currently receives 24/7 care. A number of caregivers have been with her consistently for 3-4 years and proven to be genuinely caring, patient, communicative, and reliable. Office staff have also been kind and responsive when a problem has arisen. I was a client of Home Instead for nearly 2 years. We had to tell the agency not to send numerous caregivers that were inattentive and only interested in being on their phones.
Her every thought is for someone else. I call my other caregiver "Mary Sunshine" because she always makes me happy. Excellent in very aspect from the caregivers, schedulers, financial and management. Although they are trying it seems difficult to find a consistent caregiver to come every week. They are all good but it means acquainting each new person with our specifics. We had hoped to develope a long term relationship with one or two.
The care of each family member was very different; however, I found that this provider managed the care in a professional and kindly manner. In addition, the caregivers are exceptional. Thank you, Home Instead, for helping us through these times.

I'm very happy with Home Instead Senior Care. We chose them because they were the one group that sent someone to my house to talk to me. They're very professional and kind. My communication with them is good. However, I would like them just to have shorter required hours.
